Hi everyone. How are your assignments going? A lot of students, including me, are struggling to study for thier exams or finish thier assignments. When you are stressing about these things, it is better to think about your mid-term break ! 😀
Last time, I talked about the Tax File Number which is important when you want to work in Australia. This time, I’m going to give you volunteer information.
As an international student, most of the experiences in Australia are valuable and exciting. In addition to the experiences, if you have an opportunity to be involved in Australian society, it will be great and is also good for future job searching. Of course it would be better involving university activities like the Discussion group meeting, English for Academic Study (EAS) and so on. I recommend this for just another way to enjoy your Australia life!
There is a volunteer job at Underwater World in Mooloolaba. Basically you will help tourists or local students to look around the aquarium. I have not checked if the applicants can get the certification of volunteer work and if it is possible to use the certification in my county or yours.
I’m considering this volunteer job during summer vacation time. Here is the information.http://www.underwaterworld.com.au/visitorsInfo/AboutUs/Careers
