Brisbane definitely deserves its own post. It is an amazing city! We went there on a day trip for the first day of the Brisbane Festival, especially to see the fabulous fireworks. This was also my first time in Brisbane, so it was great to see the city buzzing with happy people. It was like going back to civilization as I had spent a week in Sydney (which I btw have to tell you about, too) prior to my arrival on the Sunshine Coast, and had not left the region since. Don’t get me wrong, I do love the Sunny Coast and its relaxed lifestyle, but I also enjoy the big city every now and then. It was a sunny Saturday, so walking around the festival area and exploring exhibitions and other events the festival had to offer was just amazing. Needless to say, Brissy is the place to go if you are a little shopaholic like myself! I also had the best cup of coffee so far in relation to the price/quality. It is, after all, the little things in life that make you feel good. I also made friends with the locals, here is a proof:
